Dean of Economics Faculty, Kateb University, Kabul, Afghanistan

Currently I am Dean of Economics Faculty, Kateb University, Kabul, Afghanistan. As dean of economics faculty, I supervise the Heads of Business Economics and BBA departments and leads the various committees such as Strategic Plan Committee, Curriculum Development Committee, Quality Assurance Committee, Academic Council of the Faculty etc. I played a role in the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Process University went through and satisfactorily obtained the required criteria. Furthermore, I am working closely with Kateb University Research Center and SDGs Office. In SDGs Office we have hosted many events and conducted various profound researches on SDGs goals.


It is also worth mentioning that I am a Ph.D. candidate in economics at Sharif University of Technology. I have completed my M.A. Economics in “Effects of Bank Facilities on Investment: Experience of HPAEs” at the University of Isfahan, where I gained Elite Student Certificate. During my studies I have collaborated extensively with Center of Excellence Office of Isfahan University in writing the “Outcomes and Policy Purposes of National Conference on Monetary and Bank Management Development. Prior to that I completed B.A. (Honors) Economics at the University of Lucknow, Lucknow, India. I deliver lectures for MBA, M.A., B.A. and BBA Classes on various economic courses especially macroeconomics, economic growth, economic development, econometrics with statistical software (i.e. Stata and EViews), and managerial economics since 2017. Moreover, I am supervising M.A. students to write their theses and B.A. students to successfully complete their final projects.
